Emergency Temporary Road Closure On Swinney Lane, Belper
From 4th May 2020 to 24th May 2020, Swinney Lane, Belper will be closed between its junctions with Mill Street and B6013 Chesterfield Road To facilitate repairs to damaged wall.
WHEN: 4th May 2020 to 24th May 2020.
WHERE: Swinney Lane, Belper between its junctions with Mill Street and B6013 Chesterfield Road.
REASON: To facilitate repairs to damaged wall.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cemetery Road, A6 Matlock Road / Bridge Street / Chapel Street, A609 New Road / Cheapside / Market Place,
B6013 Church Street / Chesterfield Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
This notice is given under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
