Springtime events at Crich Tramway Village
Crich Tramway Village, near Matlock, will feature some family friendly events this spring.
Magical May on 30th April and 1st May invites families to follow the fairy trail and meet the Fairy Queen, build fairy dens and take part in a wizarding school.
In keeping with the tradition of Maypole dancing, visitors will be able to have a go on 1st May or enjoy watching Morris Men dance.
Between Saturday 6th and Monday 8th May, children can make their own crowns and waving flags to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles.
Sunday 21st May invites you and your dog to the first ‘Barking Mad’ dog show at Crich Tramway Village, in conjunction with ‘Just for Dogs’ of Ashbourne. A small charge to enter your dog goes directly to the dog charity.
Events Manager, Candi Bell, said:
“As a dog friendly attraction, we are delighted to be holding this new dog show event in conjunction with Just for Dogs. The dogs will also be able to ride on our vintage trams and enjoy the day with their owners”.
From Saturday 27th May until Friday 2nd June, you can enjoy the return of traditional British seaside fun, including Punch and Judy, bingo, craft making, mini beach, and fun fair, plus a Flea Circus from 27th to 29th May.
Full price tickets are valid for 12 months free return (subject to opening dates and excluding 1940s events) and those who already have their tickets can use them for all these events.
