Described as a musicians musician, Allen’s sound is built on a foundation of pop, rock, americana, roots and blues influences. He has an amazing whiskey soaked voice and a perfect gift of melody.
Allen is without a shdow of a doubt a superbly gifted lyricist, wordsmith and craftsmen of song.
His breakthrough came after he performed on BBC’s Later with Jools holland. Since then he has toured with many musical greats such as Mark Knopfler, Emmylou Harris and Damien Rice to name a few. He has also established himself as a song writer for many other artists.
Allen’s Music has been globally succesful with sync’s in films, TV and advertising.
He continues to tour with his Band ‘The LUNA KINGS’ which are comprised of some of the best session players in the country. They recently performed at Amsterdam’s Royal park live festival alongside icelandic band Kaleo.
His new album “A heightened sense of everything” is out now.
