20 years of rewilding a small farm – An explosion of surprises and changing countryside.
Martin’s Farm, Wirksworth, was a small dairy farm at the end of its life, then we turned up and started digging holes, planting trees, and trying to get some wildflowers established in semi-improved pastureland.
We discuss the practicalities of rewilding; the brambles, the bracken, ash die-back etc. It is also about the philosophy of rewilding, what can we do to improve nature and help everybody benefit from its intricate magic?
We welcome all to our meetings which are only £2 per person, we have a nice warm hall and fabulous home-made cakes at break! Plenty of parking - Start at 7:30pm - 9:30pm
