Pinxton Village Hall was built to provide a meeting place, and much needed facilities for activities for the communities of Pinxton and surrounding areas.
The hall today is vital to the village and is run and managed by the Parish Council, who work hard to ensure it is maintained to the highest possible standards so that it will continue to be the hub of village activities. In 2011/12 over £15,000 was spent on making sure the hall was well looked after and maintained to a high standard.
The Village Hall is fully accessible to disabled persons, with ramps to all entrances and all rooms are on the ground floor. In addition to a large airy main room (seating up to 200 people), there is a small hall (for up to 30 people), a full catering kitchen, a spacious bar area, toilets (including a separate disabled unit) and baby changing facilities. It is fully licensed for liquor, theatre and entertainments.
