Our family company was formed in 1980 by husband and wife team Alan and Mavis Douglas, when our initial activities were concentrated on engraving and supplying quality pens.
This service evolved from Alan's employment for many years as a sales representative for the Sheaffer Pen Company and his country wide retail customers formed the original customer base of Douglas Design
Our sign activities commenced shortly, selling mainly ready made stock signs to hundreds of stationery retailers throughout the UK
This sector rapidly grew to supplying custom made signs and associated products to our retailers, end users and industrial customers
Paul our youngest son joined the business back in 1992 and is now a full partner in the company, bringing the latest technical expertise to this rapidly changing industry.
We have grown constantly from our early years by putting our customer first and by investing in the best and latest plant and machinery to keep our promise of “your sign – right on time” to our many customers everywhere.
We now have stores on both Amazon and Ebay featuring many of our products and have seen great growth from this area of operations.
As to the future we intend to maintain our fine reputation for the highest service levels to our customers, all of the time
