A wonderful oasis of peace, charm and quiet away from the daily hustle and bustle of a busy market town - You'll love what Alfreton Park has to offer.
The park is situated on the outskirts of the town (west side of Alfreton) and is very accessible (car and bus) without getting caught up in town centre traffic - any time of day or any day of the week. The only exception, is when its Alfreton's Annual Party in The Park celebration and then it's best to set out very early, as the town centre gets jammed packed and roads are closed down to make way for the community processions. The Party in the Park celebrations bring out a huge crowd (of many thousands) on the last weekend of the school summer holidays - an event not to be missed!
