1st Alton Manor Scout Group currently has over 180 Children and adult members spread across two Beaver Colonies, two Cub Packs and two Scout Troops as well as an active Executive Committee making us the biggest Group in the town of Belper.
The Group was formed in 2006, with the merger of two Scouts Groups, 3rd Belper and 6th Belper and since we have gone from strength to strength. Lead by a fantastic team of dedicated and highly committed volunteers the Group provides a balanced and structured programme for children aged between 6 and 14 which enables them to learn new skills, meet new friendship groups, achieve personal goals and challenges, try new experiences and in doing so learn by having fun.
