Denby Pottery Village Summer Fete - Sunday 24th July 2022
Denby Pottery Village is hosting its Summer Fete on Sunday, 24th July with lots of fun, games, entertainment, food and drink and it promises to be a great day out for all the family.
There will be stalls with traditional games, lots of animals to meet, face painting and much more and there’s a brass band creating a summer festival atmosphere. New to Denby Pottery Village is Alpaca Trekking plus there will be Pony rides, exotic animal encounters, and Guide Dogs will be put through their special agility course and be fund-raising on the day. The Koi Carp and DKP Aquatics love to see visitors and especially enjoy being fed with their special food which visitors can buy and feed to them.
If you feel creative try your hand at painting a pot in Denby's Craft Studio or if you are inspired by The Great Pottery Throwdown, try Denby's taster session at the potter’s wheel. Denby are offering a free drop-in to the fascinating Museum, so if you have ever wondered how Denby started or what the Discovery Centre is – call in and take a look. For gardening enthusiasts our Garden Stall has plants, stone pots, garden benches and lots of choice to enhance your garden.
There’s a good choice of refreshments including the Greedy Pig hog roast and tempting barbeque. Derby favourite Project D will be supplying doughnuts and Project Whippy will serve their amazing ice creams, there’s a hard-to-resist cake stall and plenty of takeaway and dine-in options in the Farm Shop and in the much-loved Bournes Bistro & Cafe.
