Appeal after driver is allegedly threatened by a man in Langley Mill

Published on Sunday 10 April 2022

Police are appealing for witnesses to reports of a driver who threatened another driver in Langley Mill.

The incident happened just before 1.15pm on Monday 28 March, on Derby Road, just off a roundabout from the A610.

A driver said they were coming off the roundabout when a blue coloured SUV type vehicle pulled in front of him.

Both vehicles stopped and a man then allegedly got out of the blue car and came over to the driver and made threats towards him while holding what was thought to be a wrench.

The area would have been busy around that time and police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident, have dashcam footage or with any information which could help with enquiries.

If you think you can help, please contact police on the non-emergency details below, with reference 22*178545:
