Ripley Town Council award grant to Ripley Branch of the Royal British Legion
Ripley Town Council have given a grant of £2500.00 to the Ripley Branch of the Royal British Legion towards the cost of the Crossley Park WW1 commemoration plaques and working with the school children of Ripley.
The plaques will be installed on stone plinths and will mark the history and remarkable efforts of those who gave their lives for their country.
Ripley Town Mayor Cllr Alwyn Bridge and Dean Fowler Chair of the Ripley Branch of the Royal British Legion.
