Welcome to the Codnor Inn, the last Mining Pub and the only true local pub. We reopened the pub in October 2018 after a short period of closure. Viv and I thought we would breath a bit of life in to the community with support from the locals. We took the challenge on with our knowledge that was bestowed in us from our service while serving in the Royal Navy. Our background is hospitality and our forefront is team work and commitment to bring the Codnor Inn back into the community spirit. We work closely with the Royal British Legion, Derbyshire Air Ambulance and the Royal Navy, Royal Marines Charity. Viv and I bring you events and theme days such as Burns Night Supper, Armed Forces Day, St Patrick’s Day, St George’s Day. We offer a small pub snack menu, cold and hot. We are also a split pub, Derby County & Nottingham Forest that brings great banter to our locals, especially when the East Mids clash is on our big screen.
