The Cedars Guest-House & Bed and Breakfast is a high quality and historic property that has been awarded VisitBritain’s 4 star Grade, and also the ‘Fresh’ Clean Air Award. The Cedars is located in a secluded ¾ Acre of gardens, near the historic millworkers’ cottages in the heart of the Derbyshire town of Belper.

The Cedars B&B has 3 spacious bedrooms, each available as a 'family room', and each with full en-suite bath- or shower-rooms. All are equipped with Sky TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, and with beautiful views. Each morning guests are served a full Derbyshire breakfast using locally-sourced ingredients, with the offer of vegetarian and special dietary options. A takeaway breakfast can be offered, should guests have an early start.
The spacious dining room/lounge has a wood stove, Digital TV, and facilities for business guests including a telephone and Wi-Fi; an email service is also provided.
The large half-acre lawned formal gardens have both a terrace and play area. There is ample secure parking (lit all night) for 6 cars. All the town's pubs, restaurants, shops and heritage trails an easy stroll.
There are lots of things to see and do in Derbyshire such as visiting the historic houses of Chatsworth and Kedleston Hall, and there are many theme parks in the nearby area including Alton Towers and Drayton Manor Park. The area is also a great place for activities such as walking in the Derwent Valley and the glorious Peak District, with cycling, fishing and water sports all nearby.
The Cedars is close to the major wedding venues of Shottle Hall, The Lion Hotel and Makeney Hall and we welcome guests attending events at these prestige venues
