Now under the ownership of The Pub People Company Ltd, The Steampacket in Swanwick has a fantastic location within the village, situated opposite the Church of St Andrews and is a real landmark for the locals, being on the busy road between Alfreton and Somercotes.
Serving three cask ales the pub has a great range of draught and bottled products for a bar so small, and the wine list is regularly added to.
The Steampacket has a large car park as well as an outside seating area.
