Welcome to Duffield Meadows Primary School, a Derbyshire County Council community primary school which generally has around 300 pupils on roll, aged between 4 and 11. This is a very popular school which prides itself on the high quality of its teaching and learning, with an excellent reputation among Derbyshire schools. The normal catchment area is mainly the village of Duffield itself, although places are sought-after and pupils may be admitted from outside the normal area if a place is available.
The school has high academic standards and a very strong focus on supporting every pupil to achieve their learning potential, regardless of ability. We also hope that by the time they leave the school they will have developed a wide range of interests, as well as open minds, healthy bodies and a love of learning.
