We currently have 4 classrooms in our school. We have a Reception classroom which has its own toilets. It also has an outdoor covered soft play area so that the children can access outdoor learning in all weathers. There is a large Year 1 classroom and a Year 2 classroom that is next to the library. All classrooms have an interactive whiteboard, computers and role play and messy play areas.
We have a spare classroom which we use for our Nurture Group which is called the Rainbow Room. Also, we have a Sunshine Room where the school runs a Positive Play programme.
We have a large hall where the children have assemblies, physical education, music, drama, after school clubs and where we also hold events for parents to attend.
The hall is also used as our dinner room. Dinners are prepared on the school premises and are of good quality with healthy options. We are recognised as a 'Healthy Promoting School' and also participate in the 'Fruit for Schools' scheme where every child receives a piece of fresh fruit at morning playtime.
There is a secure enclosed playground at the rear of the school. On the playground is a large seating area for the children to rest and relax with their friends at playtime. In addition to this we also have a trim-trail, musical instruments, a pirate ship and a train to ensure children have exciting, active and imaginative playtimes.
Also in the playground we have our pavillion, 'Abby's Place'. This is an outdoor classroom which has its own garden and can be used to teach lessons outside.
