Established in 1809, Denby produces both stoneware and porcelain ceramics which are beautiful, versatile and durable. Denby still uses many traditional potting skills and exports 50% of its production to over 40 countries and the USA and South Korea are its major customers overseas.
Denby Pottery Village, situated adjacent to pottery, is open to the public daily execpt Christmas Day and Easter Sunday. There is a Denby Shop, Gift Shop, a large Cookware Shop, a garden stall and 2 eateries on site including Bournes Restaurant.
Denby also offers tours of its pottery and the Denby Museum and also experiences such as painting a pot or the opporunity to try your hand on a potters wheel.
